I simply can’t figure out how they can do those jumps. Keep your body spinning in the air and finally not hit the water like a concrete wall, astonishes me beyond any logical reasoning.
Fortunately, my work was just to take pictures. Not so easy, by the way. Not only the pool was a closed place with low lights but I had to force the shooter speed to the thousands of second to freeze the movement.
All the tricks of the profession came to the rescue: 2.8 aperture, extremely high performance lenses, high speed shooting, and a lot of on-camera adjustments to improve the result. Yeap, as usual, no Photoshop here 😉 All was made on-camera.
