Pin-up illustrators, like Varga, painted models in the nude and then added the clothing, to give the impression that the fabric was really tight to the body.
I love body painting as a form of art nude photography and make-up, but I don’t like those cheap works you clearly see that the painting is poorly done and it’s more an excuse to shoot a nude woman that a real work.
Here is one of the first make-up tests I did a couple of years ago to give the visual trick that the bodypainted swimsuit is for real. I think that I nailed it with the hips and other details. Now, I’m on the works to produce the final art for a full book on bodypainted swimsuits, to be available in 2021.
